The Best Custom Shutters, Blinds & Shades!
Proudly Serving the Clearwater FL area

Shout outs to Sunburst’s newest Share Your Shutters winner: Chelsey Rushworth! Her winning submission to #ShareYourShutters features two rooms in her home decorated with stunning new Polywood interior plantation shutters that beautifully complement both her home’s style and her own personal fashion sense.

Neutral Living Area With Shutters

Chelsey, who goes by Taste of Coffey on Instagram, is a Boston-based interior designer with a penchant for stylish color schemes. Just one look at her pictures shows how she mixes and matches neutrals and vivid colors for a look that’s cozy and natural, but at the same time incredibly stylish.

She even offered some advice for DIYers in Clearwater and beyond:

  • Always have a color scheme. When you design a room, you can always adjust colors to customize it. Try to pull in hues from either your home’s color pallet or ones that will accentuate it.

  • Be fluid in your color usage. I chose shutters that are vibrant white and most of my furniture includes shades of gray, either fabric or weathered wood. So I decided to mix in splashes of white and color accents.

Decorated Room With Polywood Plantation Shutters

Not only does Chelsey excel at using colors in her design, but her use of space in her home is great as well. From the placement of her chairs that lead the eyes right up to the wall and her beautiful shutters, to the way her shelving lines up perfectly under the window, Chelsey’s house is fashion-forward, functional, and extremely cozy without ever coming close to feeling cluttered.

As our contest winner for Fall, Chelsey will receive a gift card to a Boston-area restaurant, in addition to featuring her designs here. To see more of her work, take a look at her design site at TasteofCoffey.com.

And if you think your new shutters look great enough to be a winner, share a photo on social media with the hashtag #ShareYourShutters. We want to see another Clearwater house featured as a winner!
